Arianne Baggerman

Arianne Baggerman enseigne l'histoire à l’Erasmus Universiteit de Rotterdam
et est également professeure d’histoire de l’édition et du commerce des livres à
l’Université d’Amsterdam. Elle a notamment publié Publishing Policies and Family
Strategies. The Fortunes of a Dutch Publishing House in the 18th and early 19th Centuries,
Leyde, Brill, 2013 et a coédité Controlling Time and Shaping the Self. Developments
in Autobiographical Writing since the Sixteenth Century, Leyde, Brill, 2011, ainsi que
« Egodocuments and history. A short account of the longue durée », The Historian,
78, 2016, p. 11-59. En collaboration avec Rudolf Dekker, elle a écrit De wondere wereld
van Otto van Eck (1790-1798). Een cultuurgeschiedenis van de Bataafse revolutie,
Amsterdam, Bert Bakker, 2009, dont une traduction anglaise est parue sous le titre
Child of the Enlightenment, Revolutionary Europe reflected in a boyhood diary, Leyde,
Brill, 2009. Son livre sur le développement des écrits autobiographiques aux Pays-Bas
depuis 1600 paraîtra bientôt chez Uitgeverij Verloren, à Hilversum.
