Andrea Graus holds a PhD in History of Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is currently a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Ruusbroec Institute (University of Antwerp), working in the ERC-funded project STIGMATICS: "Between saints and celebrities. The devotion and promotion of stigmatics in Europe, c.1800-1950". Her actual research interests include the history of modern mysticism in France and Spain, and the history of child prodigies. Her publications on these and other topics, such as spiritism, hypnosis and psychical research, have appeared in journals like Cultural and Social History and Journal for the History of the Behavioral Sciences.
