Kenneth Bertrams

Kenneth Bertrams is Professor at the Université libre de Bruxelles and a member of the research unit Modern & Contemporary Worlds. He teaches Modern Economic History and Social History of Science and Technology. He has published extensively in the field of business history, with books on the Solvay Company (Cambridge U.P., 2013), the biopharmaceutical group UCB (Lannoo, 2018), and the multinational brewer AB-InBev (Oxford U.P., 2019). His current research interests include the international circulation of philanthropic models and the history of scientific internationalism during and after World War I.
